Ai-related documents from Kitajima-cho are exhibited in Kitajima-cho’s library/Sosei Hall. Many of them are ancient documents donated by Miki Yasuhei, a local historian from Kitajima-cho, recording not only the cultivation, production, and sale of Ai plants in Tokushima Prefecture and municipalities and villages with which Kitajima-cho was involved but also distribution with other prefectures. As for Ai masters/merchants from Kitajima-cho, there are also documents relating to Niimi Kajiro, founder of the Seiransha Company, and to the Shinohara family.
