This site preserves the platform of the former Yabakei Railway, featuring a simple design with two layers of cut stone along its sides. Today, it serves as a rest stop along the cycling road, providing a space for locals and tourists to gather and interact.
As a valuable reminder of the railway’s history, the station has been designated a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
