Shiogama Shrine, at which the god Shiotsuchioji-no-Kami is enshrined, was formerly located on the grounds of the Higashihama Salt Farm, but in Taisho 6 (1917), it was moved to its current location. Later, the shrine was combined with Konpira Shrine and Tenma Shrine. Donations such as the stone lantern donated by the salt producers of Osakimura in Taisho 7 (1918) still remain at the shrine.
