Koma family residence, the national Important cultural property is the residence of Koma family, who served as a Shintō priest of Koma Shrine. According to the family tradition, it was constructed during the Keichō period. It is characterized by hip-and-gable roof that is often seen in Kantō region and koyo room layout. In the latter part of the Edo period, a coaching school for learning was held there, and the head of Koma family was teaching reading and writing to children in the neighborhood.
The adjacent weeping cherry tree is said to be about 400 years old. It normally blossoms out in March and the viewing time comes at its peak toward the end of the month.
