It is written in “Shoku Nihongi” that in May of Reiki year 2 (716), 1799 people of Koguryo origin moved to Musashi Province and Koma County was created. This region was developed by the creation of the Koma County. Since the Meiji era, many celebrities attracted to the history of this area visited our shrine, and some of their honored names are posted in the name tablet. The donated trees along the approach were dedicated as a remembrance of the visit to the shrine, and the shrine became known as “the Deity of Successful Career,” because the cases of people who succeeded in life after the visit followed in succession.
